As part of our expansion strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa, we are excited to announce the start of our operations in Zambia as of 1 October 2014.The strategic focus of Pylos Zambia will be the development of strip malls, while looking opportunistically at the other real estate sectors in Zambia. Our head office will be in the Zambian capital Lusaka.
Pylos Zambia will be headed by Victor Sodala. Victor is a graduate in economics from the London School of Economics and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He started his career in the asset management industry in Zambia and subsequently moved to South Africa where he was an investment manager at one of the largest financial services company in Africa. Before joining Pylos, Victor was development manager for Africa at the Eris Property Group where he was responsible for expanding their development business into new African countries.
